The objective for this project was to make a 'place' by way of an inhabited bridge along the Nottingham Canal. The scheme has been developed to help put the canal back on the map by offering the local community a new and innovative place to come and gather in an area once disused and neglected. A number of different nodes and gathering zones at different heights and intervals, connected by a network of timber supported ramps gives the public the opportunity to engage with the surrounding site and reoccupy the space.
