Japanese architects Jun Aoki Associates - known for their minimalistic sophisticated designs for several Lous Vuitton stores - won a competition to design The Quay Club for Canary Wharf Contractors Limited based on a concept idea of reciprocating the wavelets in the water around the Canary Wharf Quays. Adamson Associates have been involved as executive architect on the project from the beginning and have played a large role in developing many of the complex design revisions to ensure that JAA's intricate visions is reflecting in the final building.

 

Since joining the project in September of 2016 I have worked on many aspects, these involve; Cladding details, developing design revisions after planning was refused, infrastructure coordination, structural solutions with ARUP Engineers and assisting the team in implementing and rationalising the design intent from Jun Aoki Architects.
